The name TWELVE37 comes from the childhood home address of our CEO, LaThomas "Mike" Hodge: 1237 16th Street in Newport News, Virginia. That home, purchased by Walter and Mary Hodge on October 3, 1968 for $11,200, became the foundation for a family legacy built on perseverance, service, and integrity.
Over five decades later, on January 31, 2019, the property sold for $1,334,800 — reflecting not just financial appreciation, but the enduring value of the family's sacrifices and community presence. Carrying forward the number "1237" in our name ensures that every step TWELVE37, INC. takes is rooted in where we came from — and who we serve.
